Mercury Interactive Products Chosen to Test Windows 2000

Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) has selected Mercury Interactive's automated software testing tools to assure the scalability and reliability of the Microsoft's Windows 2000 operating system.

Microsoft chose Mercury Interactive's WinRunner, for functional and regression testing; LoadRunner, to verify that the operating system would perform as expected under a heavy load; and TestDirector, to plan and manage the entire testing process.

Microsoft has also employed these solutions to test more than 200 popular applications from such vendors as SAP, IBM/Lotus, J.D. Edwards, Siebel, and PeopleSoft to evaluate their compatibility and interoperability with Windows 2000.
