Red Hat Project Debuts Fedora 13 Linux 'Goddard'

With the new Fedora Linux 13 release, the Red Hat-sponsored project has something to offer all comers. The "Goddard" release boasts updates geared for both novice and experienced users.

Fedora 13 also sports virtualization, desktop and server improvements, as well as new hardware capabilities. On the downstream side, Fedora 13 Linux offers expanded support for Python. CIO Update has the details.


The Red Hat-sponsored Fedora Project today officially released the Fedora 13 Linux distribution, codenamed "Goddard," with improvements aimed at both new and experienced Linux users.

The new Fedora 13 release comes six months after Fedora 12's debut and continues to enhance the Linux operating system experience for its users. Fedora 13 includes improved virtualization, along with other developer, desktop and server improvements.
