Leapnet Adopts Macromedia Web Tools

Web software giant Macromedia Inc. and interactive agency Leapnet Inc. today announced a strategic partnership to deliver Macromedia's solutions to Leapnet's customers.

As an agency with clients such as Wal-Mart Stores, SAM'S Club, MSNBC.com and American Airlines, Leapnet already has extensive experience with Macromedia products such as Flash, Dreamweaver and Fireworks. The company will now incorporate other software to allow its clients to analyze and personalize campaigns.

In doing so, Leapnet becomes the first Macromedia partner to build a business practice utilizing the full range of Web publishing and e-business products from Macromedia.

"Using the full suite of Macromedia products, Leapnet will be able to deliver creative, innovative solutions to its clients," said Stephen Elop, senior vice president and general manager for Macromedia.

Under the agreement, Leapnet will now deploy products such as Macromedia Aria for Web site analysis and Macromedia LikeMinds for real-time personalization.

The partnership also helps Leapnet jumpstart its wireless practice. Macromedia has been working with Nokia to bring visual authoring of WAP-enabled Web content to its wireless devices using Macromedia Dreamweaver.
