e-Lock Adds Web Form Signing to IE 4.0

Frontier Technologies announced that its e-Lock information security suite now offers Web form signing for Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0.

The e-Lock Toolkit v.2 component of e-Lock provides developers with a set of Windows ActiveX controls for signing, verifying, encrypting, and decrypting.

The ActiveX controls allow developers to easily sign Web forms, HTML data, and create signed receipts. Web developers can also create signed Web forms that can be verified and archived at the Web server.

In addition, e-Lock ActiveX controls can be used at the Web server in Active Server Pages to create signed HTML pages and digitally signed receipts that the server can send to the browser for verification and archival at the desktop.

The e-Lock v.2 Toolkit works with the Microsoft CryptoAPI and a number of Cryptographic Service Providers for software, Smartcard, and high speed hardware based cryptography.

e-Lock Toolkit v.2 beta 2 including the e-Sign Toolkit is available immediately for free download.
