Learning Tree Announces Hands-On JavaScript Course

Learning Tree today announced the release of "JavaScript: Building Interactive Web Sites," a hands-on course that focuses on writing and debugging JavaScript and JScript.

Learning Tree's four-day course is aimed at giving developers valuable experience in adding dynamic graphics and interactive forms to Web sites, developing server-side Web applications, integrating databases and controlling Java, ActiveX and plug-ins, all using JavaScript or JScript.

"JavaScript: Building Interactive Web Sites" is the latest course to be offered in Learning Tree's existing Intranet/Internet Curriculum. Other courses include:

  • Introduction to the Internet and Intranets for Business
  • Developing a Web Site
  • Designing and Building Great Web Content
  • Implementing Web Security
  • Deploying Internet and Intranet Firewalls
  • Web server courses: Microsoft IIS, Netscape Servers for Intranet Development, Domino Web Site Development and Oracle Web Application Server

The JavaScript course will be offered at Learning Tree education centers nationwide beginning in October, with initial courses offered in Washington, D.C.
