ASD Plans New Storefront Solution

New Orleans-based Advanced Software Development Corp., developers of the U.A. Corporate Accounting suite of business automation solutions, said it will soon release an end-to-end Web-based store front solution.

The design provides fast-growing companies the capability to go online quickly by integrating U.A.'s store front development tools with the U.A. Corporate Accounting business automation back-end solutions.

The U.A electronic storefront solution includes built-in wizards allow users to choose from over 520 distinct store front or catalog looks. Other wizards drive the set up of database tables that house inventory information, product views, pricing and other custom product information.

Because both the front end web store and the back end business automation are 100 percent U.A. Software, seamless integration is achieved right out of the box, the company said.

"Most of the products that are being touted as complete electronic commerce solutions actually are focusing on just certain pieces of the e-commerce puzzle. . .Sending an electronic order into manual bottlenecks where the information must be re-entered or otherwise handled a second time just doesn't fit into the super fast, 24 hour a day realm of Web-based commerce. . .we have completely automated the entire process into a single solution. . .," said ASD CEO Paul Shoultz.

Pricing for U.A.'s total Web-based commerce solution was not disclosed. Official product release is scheduled for June.
