San Francisco-based Andromedia Inc., a provider of e-marketing software, and the Sun-Netscape Alliance, a provider of e-commerce solutions, agreed to develop interoperability interfaces for Netscape SellerXpert and Andromedia's ARIA and LikeMinds product lines.

"The Alliance plans to maintain its leadership by implementing an aggressive, three-tiered initiative dubbed 'Full, Speed, Ahead.' The initiative will expand our e-commerce applications business through technology partnerships that will quicken deployment of applications and improve product innovation. . .," said Daphne Carmeli, vice president of the application product division for the Sun-Netscape Alliance.

"Today's announcement launches the first tier of the initiative, and will enable the Alliance to provide customers with one-to-one marketing support, continuing our leadership position."
