HOTRES.com Launches NYC Hotel Reservation Site

Stamford, CT-based HOTRES.com launched an Internet hotel reservation site offering a daily inventory of more than 1,000 New York City rooms at 30 rated hotels at discounted rate in various price ranges.

The company said it plans to expand its Web-based hotel reservation system to include other United States travel destinations, including Las Vegas, San Francisco, Orlando, Miami and Los Angeles.

HOTRES.com said it has no membership requirements and no need to provide personal data (outside of standard credit card information) nor to engage in a bidding process.

"The biggest challenge for anyone traveling to New York City is finding a place to stay, especially around holidays, conventions and peak travel periods," said Kerrin Behrend, president of HOTRES.com. "HOTRES.com draws on the largest inventory of prime Manhattan hotel space available anywhere--online and offline."

Based on a comparative shopping model, HOTRES.com allows consumers to review the rates and availability for rooms at as many of the hotels as they want. HOTRES.com said it extends all standard customer privileges, such as the ability to cancel a reservation, secure accommodations one day in advance and specify personal preferences and requests.
