Internet Tradeline, Advance Internet Inc. Team Up

New York City-based Internet Tradeline Inc., a provider of turnkey, electronic commerce-enabled stores, entered into an agreement with Advance Internet to provide private-labeled online malls for the latter's online affiliates.

Advance Internet affiliates serve 22 cities throughout the U.S. Financial arrangements between the companies were not disclosed.

"We chose Internet Tradeline to build Point & Shop malls for us because they offered a fully outsourced solution that is intuitively easy to use, and most importantly, because the economics of the relationship were so compelling," said Peter Weinberger, executive vice president of Jersey City, NJ-based Advance Internet.

"With this agreement, we level the retail playing field by getting local stores online where they can dramatically increase the number of customers they can reach," said Lenny Khutorsky, Internet Tradeline's founder and chief information officer. "Together, we will enable retail advertisers who comprise Main Street U.S.A. to compete on the Web."

Advance Internet Inc. is a subsidiary of Advance Publications Inc., owner of newspapers in 22 cities as well as Conde Nast magazines, CondeNet, Parade; and React.
