E-commerce company Clique.com signed a deal with Forbes Inc. to provide its "Media Commerce" e-commerce solution.

Clique.com will develop and operate a customized online store that will be integrated into Forbes.com.

Clique.com is providing magazine publishers such as Forbes the ability to secure incremental e-commerce revenue, extend their advertisers reach and distribution and give their readers the ability to make immediate purchases.

"Our advertisers drive billions of dollars in product sales annually," said Greg Zorthian, vice president, business development at Forbes Inc.

"Our partnership with Clique.com allows us to secure a portion of that revenue through online sales at Forbes.com. It also allows advertisers to grow their online distribution channel aligned with their off-line advertising strategy."

Clique.com said its end-to-end solution provides everything from the co-branded front-end interface to back-end inventory management, order fulfillment and customer service.

By integrating a custom-built Clique store into a magazine's Web site, readers can be provided the ability to purchase the exact products and services found in the print publication.
