Shopnow.com Launches B-to-B Commerce Suite

E-commerce company ShopNow.com Inc. launched an expansion of CommerceTrust.com, its business-to-business commerce division providing technology and outsourcing services to retailers, manufacturers, catalogers and other Internet companies.

CommerceTrust.com provides business-to-business technology services and transaction processing solutions to small, medium, and large businesses.

Additionally, CommerceTrust.com clients gain access to the two million monthly visitors to the ShopNow.com retail network.

CommerceTrust.com products and services include:

  • CommerceTrust Merchant Center -- tools include hosting, domain registration, software utilities, business and consulting services, sales and marketing resources and daily e-Commerce news feeds. CommerceTrust.com is also introducing a live online support program that answers merchants' questions and directs users to appropriate resources on the network.

  • CommerceTrust eStore -- offers customized online storefront with room for up to 10 products (upgrades are available for more products); tax and shipping charge calculation; e-mail alerts when orders are received and automated e-mail receipt notification to customers; shopper security including password secured log-in where orders are encrypted and stored until processed and shopping cart technology.

  • CommerceTrust IP-Charge -- payment processing system enables merchants to accept and process all major credit cards over the Internet and automatically receive the transaction amount in an existing bank account.

  • CommerceTrust PC-Charge -- is a Windows-based application that can process transactions over the Internet using the same payment processing technology as CommerceTrust IP-Charge as well as process transactions with the major U.S. payment processors over standard dial-up modems.
