Kabang Launches As Entertainment E-Commerce Destination

Kabang.com launched an e-commerce site featuring a selection of music, movie titles, books and merchandise, driven by related content.
The site aims to differentiate itself from its competition with original, informative content, including special programming.
"Kabang.com offers a one-of-a-kind community environment, where you can spend a few minutes picking up a CD or video, or hours enjoying a broad range of special features," said Peter Newton-John, Kabang.com president and chief executive officer.
"We hope to become part of our customers' daily entertainment routines, like watching a favorite television show."
Consumers will also have the opportunity to participate in product reviews, chat rooms and message boards.
Kabang.com will also produce theme-oriented events and sales promotions, bundling products such as a movie title, its soundtrack, an autographed poster from the film and tickets to premieres or special screenings.
