Iron Street Labs Allies with Ernst & Young

Internet incubator company Iron Street Labs added professional services firm Ernst & Young to its roster of affiliate partners.

Ernst & Young will provide "on-call" consulting to Iron Street Labs stable of early-stage Internet companies.

Ernst & Young will provide expertise in e-business management, accounting, taxation and human resources consulting.

Additionally, "Ernst & Young is committing a dedicated on-site manager in Iron Street Lab's New York offices versed in the 'dot-company' space and a direct link to Ernst & Young's New York e-business team," said Roger Savell, Ernst & Young's New York Metropolitan E-Commerce leader. Financial arrangements were not disclosed.

Privately held Iron Street Labs was founded in early 1999 by Richard Thompson and Bob Niehaus to focus on new-economy opportunities in the fields of financial services, B2B and broadband. It provides seed capital, office space, professional services and administrative support.
