Excite@Home Offers OneChannel.net Sales Analysis Solutions

Excite@Home signed an agreement with B2B e-commerce information services company OneChannel.net to provide Excite@Home's e-commerce merchants with value-added sales metrics and transaction analysis.

Excite@Home (ATHM) said its E-Business Services customers will have 24/7 access to OneChannel.net's real-time e-commerce services, which are designed to help merchants make marketing and merchandising decisions, assess up-to-date market share and measure competitive performance.

Financial arrangements between the companies were not disclosed.

OneChannel.net gathers individual merchant transaction data (down to the SKU level) and aggregates it with sales information collected from other merchants. The data is then syndicated and made available to merchants, which they can use it to generate reports on product, pricing and sales analysis and comparisons to industry benchmarks.

"Merchants can view personalized transaction and market reports from OneChannel.net in real-time, allowing them to react to rapidly changing market conditions, plan accordingly and make the changes necessary to stay ahead of their competition," said Dan Odette, vice president, marketing, E-Business Services, Excite@Home.

E-Business Services, part of @Work, Excite@Home's business-to-business division, is a provider of e-commerce solutions for small to medium size businesses offering an integrated e-commerce solution that includes a wizard driven, template-based store builder, shopping cart and cash register, an Internet ready merchant account, payment gateway, and Web traffic leveraging Excite.com, ExciteShopping and Excite Stores.
