Walt Disney Internet Group has teamed with eBay to produce Disney Auctions, a site where everything from original Disneyland signs to tickets to the premiere of "102 Dalmatians" will be sold directly from The Walt Disney Company.

Disney Auctions features authentic, rare and one-of-a-kind items from every aspect of Disney's entertainment legacy, the company said.

The virtual corporate garage sale marks the first time authentic memorabilia has been offered directly from The Walt Disney Company for an online trading venue.

Financial arrangements between the companies were not disclosed.

The new site taps nearly 80 years of history from The Walt Disney Company, including classic animated and live-action films, television series, theme park attractions, books, vintage merchandise, contemporary collectibles and more. All merchandise comes directly from Disney, and authenticity is guaranteed.

Disney Auctions on eBay premieres with the original Disneyland marquee letters; the original lithograph from the opening day of Walt Disney World; Hocus Pocus costumes worn by Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker; "Buzz Lightyear" production cels; and items from the original Mickey Mouse Club, including hats, shoes, jackets and records, among other things.

"Through the combination of authenticated Disney merchandise and eBay's powerful auction-style venue, we have created a world class online trading environment as well as a viable new revenue stream," said Steve Wadsworth, president of Walt Disney Internet Group.

"Disney Auctions is a destination where people from around the world can get a little part of the Disney magic," said Brian Swette, chief operating officer of eBay.
