IFILMpro has unveiled search directory specifically designed for entertainment professionals and enthusiasts, announced IFILM CEO, Kevin Wendle.
In addition, the company has launched SpecMarket, a script recommendation service for agents, managers, and development executives. IFILMpro also introduced a variety of new enhancements including an updated look, more comprehensive tracking services, and new online commerce functionality for IFILM's publishing products.
"We believe that these new products and enhancements solidify IFILMpro's place on the desktop of entertainment industry decision makers," said Wendle. "The new IFILMpro directory is the deepest of its kind, offering the industry the most comprehensive and relevant search tools on the internet."
The directory is designed to produce targeted results across any entertainment industry category. IFILMpro also launched SpecMarket, a new service from IFILM's script coverage product, ScriptShark. SpecMarket offers professionals access to a listing of scripts that have received "consider" or "recommend" coverage. ScriptShark is also expanding beyond coverage and offering screenwriters script story notes and treatment analysis. After receiving coverage from ScriptShark, several writers have received production and representation deals.
IFILMpro has also introduced a number of new features:
- The television tracking service, Tvtracker, has extended its tracking database to include all U.S. broadcast, cable, and syndication programming reports, television trade show and markets listings, and expanded its current programming and overall deals databases;
- IFILMpro now has enhanced commerce functionality allowing online book purchases from both Hollywood Creative Directory and Lone Eagle Publishing.
In related news, MediaMetrix numbers for October show IFILM surpassing other broadband entertainment content delivery sites, delivering more visitors than competitors such as iCast, Scour and Atom Films.
