Located in southern Maine near the New Hampshire border, Lebanon Elementary School is attempting to earn enough money to send fifth graders to a residential Environmental Education program.
Independent Gov. Angus King has offered to allow the kids to auction off lunch for four with him at the Governor's Mansion in Augusta, ME.
The auction, which will be held online from March 14-20 at
www.netabode.com/les5th,
also includes theater tickets, fine dining, crafts and collectibles, a
football autographed by NFL quarterback Doug Flutie and a movie script
autographed by country-western star Clint Black.
