New York City-based community operation theglobe.com this week signed an exclusive $1.2 million partnership deal with Music HQ.com and DVD Flix.com Inc., an online music and movie retailer.
A merchandising and advertising program developed for Music HQ will include:
- anchor tenant status in the music and movie category in shop.theglobe.com and within specially designated shopping sections in the Entertainment, Music, Movies and Television themed areas
- direct e-mail marketing to globe members
- sponsorship of 21 entertainment chats and nine seasonal promotions
- four entertainment contests and sweepstakes
Music HQ.com and DVD Flix.com will participate in a program offering members of theglobe.com who place Music HQ and DVD Flix's logo on their home page the opportunity to earn commissions generated from sales.
