Sun, NetObjects Develop Intranet Operating System

The two companies aim to provide a high performance, scalable and reliable environment to create intranet portals and corporate Web sites.
NetObjects will integrate its Authoring Server Suite into Solaris 7 operating system. The suite is designed to help enterprise customers collaboratively build and manage intranets and extranets that integrate business processes and deploy customized applications. Features include a Java-based content contributor, an asset manager and a remote systems administrator.
