Alive.com Launches e-Show Server

Alive.com this week released the Alive e-Show Server, an intranet software package that brings the power of e-shows and streaming media communications inside the corporate firewall.

In conjunction, the company announced the release of the latest version of Alive e-Show, its streaming media communications software, now compatible for playback with the RealNetworks' (RNWK) RealPlayer G2.

Alive e-Show Server allows corporations to easily standardize on Alive e-Show for their corporate intranet, providing easy creation, distribution and management of streaming media-enhanced sales pitches, training seminars and marketing presentations. Alive e-Show Server closes the loop inside organizations, enabling one-click publishing of streaming media e-shows to the Web. A catalog of published e-shows makes it easy to share and reuse content among peers and easily highlight newly published e-shows.

Alive e-Show Server integrates with an organization's existing intranet and is designed for workgroups, departments and companies of all sizes. E-shows can be published by anyone within an organization while IT departments and managers maintain final review and approval.

The catalog created by Alive e-Show Server simplifies the management of numerous e-shows by categorizing them according to group, department, or company wide specifications.

Pricing for Alive e-Show Server starts at $995.
