Active IQ Resells Intranet Solutions' Content Management System

Software maker Active IQ Technologies Inc. Thursday banded with IntraNet Solutions Inc. to offer Web content management solutions to small- and medium-sized businesses.
Financial details of the deal were not made public, but IntraNet Solutions' Xpedio Content Management system will serve as the initial offering of a complementary suite of software products and services Active IQ will offer to enterprise customers.
Active IQ's flagship service is "Epoxy" and its suite of products (Express, Business and Enterprise), connects directly with supplier and buyer back-end business systems.
On the INRS side of the fence, Xpedio helps customers deploy business Web sites and automates the process of maintaining on these sites. Content from sources including desktop applications, business applications and templates is managed and published in Web-based formats such as HTML, XML, PDF and WML.
The good news for INRS is compounded by preliminary estimates which indicate the knowledge-sharing company may beat third-quarter estimates. INRS expects to post more than $19 million in revenue at the Jan. 25 close. Still, the firm has not released details of potential earnings per share.
