HotJobs.com Gets $16 Million Investment

Online employment resource HotJobs.com Ltd. Thursday received $16 million in funding from a group of investors led by venture capital firm Generation Partners.

Other investors include Bessemer Venture Partners and Boston Millennia Partners. The company said it will use the capital to expand infrastructure, staffing levels and marketing expenditures.

"Our strong relationship with these new investors represents a springboard for incredible things to come, said Richard Johnson, HotJobs president and chief executive officer.

"We believe this shows the venture capital community firmly recognizes the strong commitment of corporate America to our acclaimed human resource products and services."

Headquartered in New York, HotJobs.com lists resources for job seekers and employers nationwide. Services include personal searches, resumé support, a recruiter Webstation and free job posting to third party sites such as Yahoo! and AltaVista.
