Partnership Offers Free Dial-Up Service through Spinway

Internet home solutions Web portal OurHouse.com Tuesday partnered with iWon.com to launch a hybrid-marketing program that combines free Internet services with an opportunity to double daily cash prizes.

Powered by co-branding free Internet access facilitator Spinway Inc., the dial-up service is available for downloading at OurHouse.net. The free Internet access deal also allows consumers to personalize their own iWon.com home page.

Web users can also initiate free ISP services through downloads at either of the OurHouse Web sites, or from links at iWon.com and Spinway. Headquartered in Evanston, IL OurHouse.com is a Web destination that provides home improvement products, services and how-to information. Partnered with Ace Hardware Corp. OurHouse.com offers consumers access to more than 30,000 home use products.

OurHouse.com intends to release starter kits for the free dial-up service by mid-June. It also intends to distribute the start-up kits at any of the participating Ace Hardware retail outlets across the country.

As a part of the deal, consumers will have the opportunity to double their cash winnings from iWon.com. If an iWon.com winner has purchased anything on OurHouse.com during the 31-day period prior to the drawing, the company will automatically double the cash prize.

iWon.com gives away $10,000 every day, $30,000 every week, $1 million every month and $10 million on Tax Day. To date, iWon has given away more than $19 million in cash prizes. By teaming up with OurHouse.com, the potential Tax Day award could be doubled to $20 million in cash prizes next year.

Philip Airey, OurHouse.com founder and chief executive officer said teaming up with iWon.com and Spinway would introduce millions of new users to its power-shopping portal.

"Teaming up with terrific partners like iWon and Spinway will allow us to build on our relationships with consumers everywhere, as well as introduce millions to the fun, functional, and now free world of the Internet."

Jonas Steinman, iWon founder and chief executive officer, said the company is enthusiastic about being able to offer free dial-up service as part of it's marketing scheme.

"Partnering on-line with a tremendous partner like Ourhouse.com and off-line with a household brand name like Ace Hardware stores, to provide users with a free ISP service is one more way to give back to our users for doing what they would do anyway," Steinman said.

Incorporated in January 1999, Spinway built its advertising network by partnering with offline brand-leaders to co-brand their free ISP services. Spinway's proprietary advertising technology targets consumers by demographics, psychographics, geography and keyword use.

Spinway's free ISP services are supported by advertising revenues with co-branding partners and independent Web sponsors.
