WebSurfer Adds SPRYNET for Internet Access

WebSurfer, developer of Internet set-top technologies, announced an agreement with Internet Service Provider SPRYNET Inc., in which it will bundle the ISP's Net access services with its set-top devices.

The WebSurfer TV set-top box enables users to surf the Internet, send and receive e-mail, create Web pages, and play online games through their television sets. It comes with a wireless keyboard and infrared remote control at no extra cost.

The Intel-powered WebSurfer also features Internet telephony capabilities, enabling users to place a long distance call to any location throughout the world without incurring long distance charges.
