Juno Introduces Games Channel

Juno Online Services Inc. Tuesday teamed with online gaming companies iEntertainment Network, Boxerjam.com and Gamers.com to roll out a new Games Channel on its portal.

The Juno Games Channel features games ranging from simulations to game shows and classic parlor games. It also features gaming news and reviews. Juno said it will share in any revenue generated by each company through increased traffic to their sites due to placement in the Juno Games Channel.

iEntertainment Network is the exclusive provider of classic games -- from traditional and parlor games to multi-player simulation games and other entertainment content -- for Juno's Games Channel. Juno also created a co-branded "Juno Game Zone" as a sub-channel of the Juno Games Channel, offering access to all of iEN's games.

Boxerjam.com will feature its multi-player online game shows on the Games Channel, including "Strike a Match," Hollywood Showdown" and "Poker Solitaire." Boxerjam.com's game shows offer contestants the ability to win cash and other prizes.

Finally, Gamers.com will supply the channel with gaming news and reviews as well as an array of message boards.

"Gaming is clearly one of the fastest-growing and most popular online activities, and we've created the new Juno Games Channel to make it easier for our subscribers to find the online entertainment they're looking for," said Charles Ardai, Juno's president and chief executive officer. "The combination of games from iEntertainment and Boxerjam and news from Gamers.com provides our subscribers with an exceptional starting point into the world of online games."
