Continuing to boost its presence in Europe, Monster.com has signed an agreement to provide online job listings and career services to millions of AOL Europe members. Financial terms were not disclosed.
"The combination of AOL Europe's strong consumer reach and Monster's established leadership position in the global recruiting market will result in a robust European career center for both job seekers and employers," said Jeff Taylor, Monster's founder.
The deal mirrors the AOL-Monster relationship in the United States, with some customization for the European market. Monster will be prominently featured and promoted across AOL Europe properties in the United Kingdom, Germany and France.
Services include: resume tools, postings and databases; executive search, selection and outplacement; and other information linking prospective employers with applicants. In return, AOL Europe properties will be promoted across Monster's Web sites on the continent.
In addition to Monster, AOL Europe has content or commerce deals with Amazon, Proctor & Gamble and Europcar. AOL Europe, based in London, has 5 million members.
