Mozilla Tweaks Firefox Crash Prevention Tool

It turns out that 10 seconds isn't long enough of a window to give unresponsive plugins to run before shutting them down. Mozilla tried that with a recent update to its Firefox browser, but users -- particularly those with older computers -- complained.

So now, with the release of Firefox 3.6.6, Mozilla has extended the time a page can load before being deemed to have crashed to 45 seconds. eSecurity Planet has the details.
