Microsoft Adds New Features to Office Web Apps

Microsoft is pressing ahead with its cloud efforts, revisiting the June launch of Office Web Apps with a laundry list of new features that bring more of the functionality of the traditional productivity portfolio to its Web-based counterpart.

This week, Microsoft rolled out an upgrade to its cloud-based Office suite, adding productivity features such as expanded printing and chart capabilities to the Web versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Datamation has the details.


Microsoft this week added new features to the Web-based versions of its Office productivity applications, finally giving them features that most users might have expected to have out of the gate.
