Snap Offers New Service and Support Packages

Snap Appliances(TM), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Quantum Corp. and a manufacturer of NAS solutions, announced two new service and support packages for the rack-mountable Snap Server(R) 4100 and newly shipping Snap Server 12000.

"As storage needs continue to grow, customers require and expect additional service and support for their NAS devices. We will continue to meet our customers' requests by offering exceptional service to support our Snap Server product line."
The company said its most inclusive plan provides on-site service and support on calls seven days per week, 24 hours a day, with a four-hour response time available in most metropolitan areas. A second service choice provides customers with next business day on-site service and support throughout the U.S. five days per week from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
The new service packages were announced in conjunction with the return to standard factory support for every new Snap Server including a one-year parts and labor warranty, advanced Web support tools and extensive telephone support, the company said. Customers can currently purchase additional on-site service and support packages through VAR and catalog resellers. The Snap Server product line is available for North American VARs through Snap Appliances' authorized distributors: Tech Data, Bell Microproducts and Ingram Micro.
