Live365.com, a leading provider of streaming MP3 audio content on the Web, was featured as award-winning software publisher Casady & Greene unveiled its groundbreaking Sound Jam(TM) MP digital audio system at the 1999 MacWorld Expo.

In partnership with Casady & Greene, Live365.com was the highlighted streaming music provider for Sound Jam MP, the first streaming music/conversion product available for Mac systems. This partnership caps a successful week of exposure and growth for Live365.com.

The Casady & Greene Sound Jam MP product provides state-of-the-art music conversion, MP3 compression, equalization and streaming functionalities. Additionally, the Sound Jam MP product serves as a digital jukebox for the creation and organization of customized music. The product is a natural fit for Live365.com, which specializes in providing bandwidth and streaming MP3 capabilities for individuals to create Internet radio broadcasts. As a part of Casady and Greene's agreement with Live365, the Sound Jam MP Web site features a direct link from their streaming music section to Live365.com. In return, Live365.com has highlighted the announcement of Sound Jam MP on its site.

"The Sound Jam MP system is a revolutionary entry into the world of streaming media," said Jennifer Johnson, vice president of business development for Nanocosm Inc., creators of Live365.com. "Mac users have never before had the functionality of streaming MP3 music on the Web. This new product finally gives this loyal community all the advantages and entertainment choices that streaming media offers. Live365.com is proud to be a part of this exciting launch!"

Also last week, Live365.com launched a consumer-ready version of its free Internet broadcasting service at the Jupiter Plug-In Forum in New York City. For this conference, Live365.com gave its Web site an artistic and functionality face-lift. Key additions to the service include an enhanced musical genre directory, featured artist sections, news and message board areas. Live365.com also bolstered its backend capacity with greatly increased server space, co-located at Exodus and Level3.
