[Toronto, CANADA] - Look Communications Inc. launched Looktvi.com, Canada's streaming vertical portal for high speed Internet. It offers search capabilities, navigational tools and special features for streaming audio and video content.

Designed by The Streamedia Digital Solutions Group, a division of Streamedia.Net, content is organized by categories such as news, sports, life, technology, and entertainment. Visitors can watch clips of their favourite movie or television show, listen to music, or watch live, up-to-the-minute specialty broadcasts and breaking news.

Looktvi.com searches and delivers only audio and video streaming content. Users can conduct searches of audio and video streaming content through a range of criteria, from the title of a song or the director of a movie to a song lyric or key phrase.

Looktvi.com has agreements with content providers including Global TV (New Media), StreamSearch, and WorkdayTV.

Advertisements can range from a 10 second radio spot to a 60 second video infomercial. Looktvi.com will link to Looktown.com, a text portal launched earlier this year that offers news, entertainment, weather updates, and links to additional information.

Streamedia Digital Solutions Group offers business-to-business solutions including rich media production services, IT services, web design, development and integration, as well as encoding, hosting and streaming.

Look Communications Inc. is a wireless broadband carrier, delivering communications services including digital television distribution, high speed Internet access and Web-related services.
