Softricity Inc., a Boston-based application platform vendor, today announced the launch of the .NET version of SoftGrid, its application deployment and management software.

This latest version of SoftGrid is designed to allow customers to manage existing Microsoft Windows-based applications as XML .NET services over corporate networks. The new platform was shown at the Microsoft .NET Solutions Pavilion at the New York New Media Association Technology Showcase.

"The Microsoft's .NET Solutions Pavilion is the perfect setting to launch the .NET version of SoftGrid, the first tangible result of our three-year agreement with Microsoft," said Harry Ruda, CEO, Softricity. "Customers can now make existing Windows applications .NET compliant."
