Verio Introduces Windows NT Web Hosting

Verio Inc. Wednesday introduced two new Microsoft Windows NT-based Web hosting plans.

The world's largest domain-based Web-hosting company created the plans for small to mid-sized businesses that desire to expand the capabilities of Microsoft's Web applications to form and sustain NT-based Web sites. Applications involved include Microsoft FrontPage, Active Server Pages and MS SQL Databases.

The two plans are priced at $49.95 and $99.95 per month and feature multiple e-mail accounts, impressive disk space, bandwidth allocations and search engine registration tools.

"With so many customers using the Microsoft NT platform for their regular business applications, it's crucial that we provide them with reliable and affordable NT Web-hosting services that meet their needs," said Laura Zung, vice president of product management for Verio's Web Service's division."

"These new hosting plans give Windows NT-based businesses a compatible hosting environment that enables them to unlock the rich functionality of Microsoft's Web Services division."

Also, for a limited time, Verio (VRIO) is offering two months of free Web hosting with the purchase of a one-year contract. Interested consumers may find more information here.

Prices range from $24.95 per month for entry-level hosting to $3,200 for more sophisticated services.
