NetLedger Gets Vertical With Partners

NetLedger Inc., a San Mateo, Calif.-based net-native ASP, will announce tomorrow integration partnerships with vertical industry software providers that specialize in biotech, agriculture, residential sales and construction, document management and electronic data interchange (EDI).

"Nine months ago, we opened our business model and technology architecture to enable third-parties to leverage the wide-acceptance of NetSuite," said Zach Nelson, president and CEO of NetLedger. "These new partnerships allow industry experts to extend NetSuite for the specific needs of vertical markets."

NetSuite is an online service designed to enable companies to manage business processes in a single, integrated system. NetLedger reports that it has more than 7,000 customers. Its service is designed to allow applications to exchange information in a common language.

Based on XML, NetLedger reports that NetSuite will be integrated with industry-specific services from the following ASPs:

Ryburn Inc. (Salinas, Calif.), a provider technology services in the agricultural vertical market. Its services produce inventory management technology, cooler and logistics management, electronic control systems, EDI/XML integration, and Internet-based Satellite Systems installations.

BuildTopia (Rockville, Md.) provides residential sales and construction business management online services to residential builders. The services are designed to allow builders to coordinate business processes and manage projects on the Internet as well as coordinate processes and communications with vendors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, superintendents, sales staff, leads, prospects and homebuyers.

Shannon Systems LLC (Braintree, Mass.) provides EDI and e-commerce services to end user organizations. B2BGateway.org is designed to provide retailers and wholesalers with an efficient and cost effective way of developing an e-commerce solution.

Document Sciences Corp. (Nasdaq: DOCX) (Carlsbad, Calif.) offers real-time, interactive content processing services. Document Sciences customers include companies in the insurance, banking and financial services, managed-care, telecommunications, utilities and commercial print service bureaus industries, including 60 Fortune 500 companies.

LifeSci Technologies (San Clemente, Calif.) designs and deploys software infrastructure for science and regulatory compliance. The companies focuses on bioinformatics, cheminformatics, proteomics and clinical trials to 21 CFR Part 11 and HIPAA compliance.

NetLedger is listed by ASPnews as a Top 20 Service Provider.

The vertical partner announcement is expect to made at NetLedger's second annual partner conference being on the Oracle campus in Redwood Shores, Calif. Providers attending the conference, company reports, offer integration services, support services and vertical applications around NetSuite, NetCRM and Oracle Small Business Suite.
