NextPage in Salt Lake City Raises $20 Million of Private Equity

NextPage Inc., a solutions provider for Peer-to-Peer Content Networking, announced today that it has raised approximately $20 million of private equity from Oak Investment Partners, epartners, Dominion Ventures and Amp Capital Partners. This second round of funding will be used to accelerate the adoption of NextPage's Peer-to-Peer Content Networking Platform for enterprises.

NextPage also announced it has appointed Ann Lamont, general partner at Oak Investment Partners, and John Stevens, partner at Amp Capital Partners, to its board of directors. As members of the board, they will help guide NextPage through its next phase of development.

"Peer-to-Peer Content Networking for the enterprise represents a rapidly growing and very substantial market," said Ms. Lamont. "NextPage has the products, technology and vision to lead this emerging industry and has already successfully deployed its products in top financial, legal, accounting and insurance institutions around the world. This distributed technology is changing business models, increasing revenue and improving the bottom line of companies worldwide."

NextPage Peer-to-Peer Content Networking technology connects knowledge workers to information regardless of where it resides. Through this technology, workers can access information such as best practice ideas, human resource data, compliance regulations and other business-critical information distributed on the Internet, intranet and extranet. With a Content Network, information is accessed through a Web browser and viewed as if it existed in a single location.
