ITAA Creates Board of Directors for ASP Program

The Information Technology Association of America (ITAA) is establishing a new application service provider (ASP) board of directors, and is asking George Kadifa, CEO of Corio, to chair the board.
According to ITAA president Harris N. Miller, the new board of directors was created to govern the direction of its application service provider program. Part of the role of the new board will be to direct market education initiatives, he said.
"The ASP marketplace is a key emerging segment of the IT industry and an example of the many applications of technology used to benefit business," Miller said.
Miller noted that in just over a year the program has grown to nearly 200 members represented by a broad spectrum of IT companies, not just ASPs.
