InsynQ Acquires Media Legends

Tacoma-based InsynQ, Inc. has expanded the company's Internet services by acquiring multimedia developer, Media Legends.

InsynQ technologies provide customers with business software applications, delivered over existing Internet connections, or via a Web-based local, or wide area network

Operating as the InsynQ Media Group, Media Legends will bring over 40 years of combined multimedia development experience to InsynQ.

"We get a good number of requests from new and existing customers for e-commerce capabilities, full-service Web hosting, and creative development," said John Gorst, InsynQ CEO. "Combine that with our corporate mission as an Internet Utility Company -- plus the fact that Media Legends contributes immediately to our bottom line -- and you can see why we were anxious to add them to our team and product offering. This group is extremely creative."

Mel Puzon, Jean Raymond Pare and David Down are tasked with integrating the InsynQ Media Group's creative capabilities into the company's existing Managed Service Provider and Internet Utility operations.

According to officials at Media Legends, the group's core competencies include streaming audio and video, 360-degree surround video, Flash animation, SQL database support, Web positioning, Website management and measurement, and CD-ROM development.
