Both Parties to Support Cybersecurity Bill

It's not easy getting both parties to agree on anything in Washington these days, but it's looking like we can expect to see bi-partisan support for a cybersecurity bill that the bill's sponsor, Sen. Jay Rockefeller hopes to see happen. It's been more than a year of work and many controversial provisions have been removed. eSecurity Planet takes a look.

WASHINGTON -- Amid the heated partisan strife that has accompanied the recent and ongoing debates over health care and financial regulatory reform, the idea of good-faith, productive negotiations that cross party lines on any significant issue seems a bit improbable these days.

John Rockefeller (D-W.V.) is betting that cybersecurity is an exception.
