Microsoft Pushes Out Exchange 2010 SP1

It's been a long, hot summer of refining improvements to the Exchange Server 2010 at Microsoft.

In June, the company released a beta version of the first service pack (SP1) to the Exchange Server 2010 to developers, and now, Microsoft says it's ready for prime time. With the general release of the Exchange Server 2010 SP1, Microsoft is offering a host of new features for the Outlook Web App, as well as a new management user interface. CIO Update has the details.

Microsoft quietly announced it is shipping the final release of Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) -- among the additions are updates to the Outlook Web App and a new management user interface.

The announcement came in a post to the Exchange Team blog midweek.
