Advertisers are able to position a dynamic message and call to action vehicle in front of gamers and create an interactive dialogue when their clickable ad sends a user to the advertiser's Web site.
Conducent said advertisers are able to target specific demographics, interact with these audiences and maximize ad expenditures from engaged and active prospects. The Conducent technology will allow eGames to know how many people have installed their products and used them.
"We're extremely excited about the opportunity of ad-enabling millions of electronic games," said Edwin Miller, Conducent's vice president of marketing and business development. "This innovative approach gives advertisers the opportunity to reach a captive audience in an environment that had been out of reach in the past. The benefit to consumers is the ability to get high quality products at an even more attractive and competitive price." Specific advertisers using the format were not disclosed.
eGames advertisers include mail.com, among others. Conducent's network includes software categories such as finance; Internet; education, games and utilities.
