“Winning Internet Strategies, Today’s Marketing Imperative” will be the theme
for the next @d:tech conference, in San Francisco May 3-5 at the Hyatt
Embarcadero.

Featured keynote speakers include Arthur Sulzberger Jr., The New York Times

Pittman, America Online – “The Media Company Circa 2000;” and Halsey Minor,
c|net and George Bell, Excite Inc. – “Portals: How Am I Different and What’s
Next.”

A special Youth Keynote Panel–Lessons from the Net Generation–will
explore how the rules of interactive marketing and advertising are changing
and how they will be impacted further by the “Net Generation.”

Industry analyst and research executive Jonathan Yarmis has been named
@d:tech.SanFrancisco co-host and appointed executive vice president, Internet
Content Group, eMarketWorld.

@d:tech.SanFrancisco will encompass five parallel program tracks, 40
individual program sessions, five major keynotes, nearly 100 speakers and a
host of exhibitors.

Highlights include:

  • Ad Serving Shootout–In this special extended session, the merits of three
different means of ad serving solutions are examined by serving solutions
providers Anderson & Lembke, DoubleClick and Avenue A Media. The three
companies will pitch a hypothetical client, attempting to convince them that
    their solution is the best.

  • Showdown at the Rich Media Corral–This event takes a first hand look at
the dynamic possibilities and potential uses of rich media. Given an identical
assignment, InterVu, Macromedia, Narrative, Real Networks and Unicast all demo
their best work using a standard browser.

Additionally, @d:tech.SanFrancisco will host the next meeting of the FAST
(Future of Advertising Stakeholders) Steering Committee and will feature
Chairman Rich LeFurgy’s FAST Subcommittee Report.
