TEK DigiTel, Teltone Partner for Corporate VoIP

TEK DigiTel Corp. and
Teltone Corp. Tuesday announced plans to jointly develop Internet telephony tools for the enterprise market.

TEK DigiTel delivers communications hardware for use in small- and medium-sized
businesses. Teltone is a leading provider of software-based telecommuting solutions.

The companies said they will use their combined technology to provide voice over IP (VoIP) tools for call center agents and telecommuters to access voice communications across corporate intranets. Teltone’s OfficeLink 2000
software will be bundled with TEK DigiTel’s V-Server iGate technology to enable remote workers access to intranet telephony.

“By combining Teltone’s OfficeLink 2000 solution with our V-Server iGate technology any remote “IP-connected” worker can be provided with full. . .access regardless of where they are located,” said Rocco DiCarlo, TEK DigiTel’s president.

No financial terms of the partnership were disclosed.
