Bigfoot
International, Inc.
announced this week at ISPCON ’98 that it released
a next-generation version of its Neoplanet Web browser, which now
includes access to Snap!’s content and Alexa’s Related Links.

Under the terms of the agreement with Snap!, users will be able to access
Snap!’s news, finance, and sports content via a Neoplanet/Snap! co-branded
site. A personalization feature is included, enabling users to create
“My Snap!” default Neoplanet browser start pages.

Neoplanet will also showcase a search tool powered by Snap! featuring topics
such as the Internet, Usenet, and Shopping.

Alexa will provide Neoplanet with a listing of Related Links, accessible
via a “What’s Related” button. The listing will reflect links that match
the user’s interest.

“By branding NeoPlanet for third-party distribution partners,
we are giving them an unmatched opportunity to improve their offering to
consumers and distance themselves from the competition. ISPs, OEMs,
content providers and direct marketers can put their stamp on the users’
entire Internet experience, from the desktop to the co-branded Snap! pages,”
said Drew Cohen, Vice President and General Manager of NeoPlanet in a
statement.
