Centrifusion and iPlanet to Partner

Sep 27, 2001

E-business consulting and integration firm, Centrifusion, and iPlanet E-Commerce Solutions, a Sun-Netscape Alliance announced Monday they will form a partnership and build, market, and service e-commerce infrastructure solutions.

Says Dan Dokmanovich, Centrifusion’s CEO, the partnership will expand the depth of each firm’s technical experience and help them stay ahead of competition. “By building proficiency with the top application servers in the industry, we can both take on development efforts for clients who’ve made their platform selection, as well as provide unbiased consultation to companies still weighing their options,” he explains.

Centrifusion will use its experience with Java-based technology in order to implement the iPlanet Platform to aid clients’ e-business initiatives. “The iPlanet Platform, when developed and deployed by a systems integrator of Centrifusion’s caliber, provides clients with the means to realize their business vision,” says Barry Jones, Director of iPlanet Partner Marketing. “This alliance holds tremendous promise for all involved,” he continues.

Both Centrifusion and iPlanet serve Global 3500 firms across the finance, telecommunications, and media industries.
