Concentric Network Corp. Monday
launched a series of small business services that includes Digital
Subscriber Line access, a DSL reseller program, and an all-in-one Web site
design and hosting package.
ConcentricDSL Telecommute is a
high-speed business service that leverages DSL technologies with remote
access capabilities for small businesses and home offices. The services
provides “always on” Internet access for remote workers within a local area
network.
“Increasing the performance of Internet and corporate access for
telecommuting employees is essential to achieve business growth
objectives,” said Mark Fisher, senior vice president and general manager of
Concentric’s network services division.
“ConcentricDSL Telecommute saves time and increases employee productivity
by allowing companies to place the circuit ordering, provisioning,
installation and maintenance of remote LAN access solutions in our
experienced and capable hands. ”
The Concentric IMPACT/small.biz Partner Program provides Internet, DSL and
Web hosting solutions designed to help small to medium-sized businesses
better leverage Internet technology.
Resellers and integrators can use the program to help sell additional
services and extend the market for LAN-enabled Internet access.
The main feature of the program is a two tiered reseller compensation
structure. A referral incentive pays out $60 to $240 for each DSL customer
brought to Concentric.
“Small to medium-size businesses are demanding complete solutions that
offer a number of services in one package,” said Bill Etheredge, senior
vice president of sales for Concentric Network. “In order to better address
this need, Concentric is pleased to offer our channel partners the best in
DSL as well as a lucrative incentive program.”
Concentric also plans to introduce ConcentricHost EasySite later this
month. The program is designed to help small and medium-sized businesses
establish a Web presence through site builder tools and assisted programming.
“This is an ideal entry point for small companies looking to take their
business to the next level,” said Connie DeWitt, director of marketing for
Concentric’s network applications services division.
DeWitt added that Concentric has “removed technology barriers, like HTML
programming, and the intimidation of having to write all the content for
their own Web sites to deliver a service that businesses can use to easily
create and maintain their Web site.”
