Concur Technologies Inc., the Redmond, Wash.-based provider of Corporate Expense Management solutions, today announced that Concur Expense, the firm’s ASP solution for automating the travel and expense (T&E) management process, has been selected by more than 70 new companies in the last three months.

New customers including Avenue A Inc., London Fog, Pinnacle West, Quantum Corporation, and The Restaurant Company are using the Web-based T&E expense management solution, which Concur argues can reduce operating costs, increase productivity, and maximize limited resources through the ASP deployment model.

“We selected Concur’s T&E expense management solution to replace our manual method of processing expense reports, which was time consuming and required repeated mathematical checks for human error, taking weeks to reimburse employees,” says Mary Moore, accounting manager for Avenue A Inc. “The ASP model enables us to configure Concur Expense to our existing back-office systems, business rules, and corporate policies and reduce our controllable costs,” she adds.

Steve Singh, chairman, president, and chief executive officer for Concur cites the firm’s partnerships with ADP and Microsoft Great Plains a key to Concur’s success: “Both partners market the ASP model of Concur Expense on a co-branded basis and provide a highly efficient distribution channel into their customer base,” he explains.

He argues that Concur has the ASP infrastructure and technology to support global organizations, as well as middle and small market companies, which means for the firm’s more than 550 customers worldwide: “Concur’s ASP solution requires minimal upfront investment and frees internal resources to focus on their core job,” he says.
