San Jose, Calif.-based D2K (Data to Knowledge) Friday announced it has named Dr. Kee Ong as its new president and CEO.

Dr. Ong, originally from Singapore, served as CTO at D2K. He previously had co-founded Internet e-commerce services company iVendor, founded object database vendor Versant, and was the architect of relational database products Ingres/Star at Ingres.

The company says it is now aggressively seeking partnerships with J2EE application server vendors to add great value to their application server products and to reduce time and effort in integration projects.

D2K’s key product, the ILN (Integrator for Leading Networks), is a J2EE Connector Architecture (JCA) standard based application integration middleware that connects different vendors J2EE application servers into a homogeneous framework to greatly simplify a customer’s integration task.
