Digital River Hosts ViewCast Site

Digital River, Inc. , the Minneapolis-based provider of outsourced e-commerce services, today announced the launch of an e-commerce site for video communications firm ViewCast Corp. .

In addition to hosting and managing the new site, which allows consumers to download ViewCast’s products that include streaming solutions, video distribution and video conferencing systems, Digital River is also providing transaction management, digital product fulfillment, fraud prevention, e-marketing and customer service.

“We are very pleased to be working with ViewCast,” says Jay Kerutis, Digital River’s president of Software and Digital Commerce Services.

“We can offer ViewCast e-commerce expertise and infrastructure to meet its e-business goals. ViewCast is also leveraging our e-marketing services to learn more about its existing customer base and implement targeted e-marketing campaigns,” he explains.

“We outsourced our e-commerce operations to Digital River because the company was able to help us meet the goals for our site,”

ViewCast develops products and services that provide video networked solutions. Its products are designed to enable users to quickly get videos up and running, be they streaming videos, video conferencing systems, live webcasting, or video production systems.
