Ellacoya Networks, a Merrimack, N.H., telecommunications infrastructure firm, has elected Peter Bell, CEO
of StorageNetworks, to its board of directors.

“Peter is a pioneer in the data storage management services and software markets,” said Ron Sege, Ellacoya’s president and CEO. “His track-record,
market instinct and service provider perspective bring a great deal of value.”

As a co-founder at StorageNetworks, Bell staked a claim in the data storage management services market, an industry IDC expects to grow to more than $10
billion in 2004.

Bell has held senior executive positions with EMC, NetXchange Communications and Andataco. He is a graduate of Boston College and holds an MBA from
Harvard Business School.

“The momentum is clearly growing for value-based, for-fee services in the marketplace,” Bell said. “Ellacoya Networks has technology and proven leadership, and I
look forward to contributing as the company enables the tremendous service carrier market opportunity.”
