iBasis Lands CFO

iBasis , a Burlington, Mass., provider of Internet-based voice communications services, has
named Richard Tennant as vice president of finance and administration and CFO.

Tennant takes over for interim CFO D.J. Long, who continues to serve as vice president of corporate development.

“Dick has a proven track record of delivering strong results and efficiently managing growth for large public companies, such as LTX and Netrix,” said Ofer
Gneezy
, iBasis’ president and CEO.

Tennant has 20 years experience in corporate finance and administration. Prior to joining iBasis, he was vice president, CFO and treasurer for ScoreBoard, a
software startup targeting the wireless carrier market.

Previously, Tennant was CFO of several private and public companies, including LTX, a semiconductor testing vendor and Netrix, a telecom equipment and
software manufacturer.
